I started KT Photography officially in 2021 after leaving my medical field job, reigniting my love of taking photos after a decade and wanting to stay home full time with my 2 boys!

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

All of my sessions are ALL Inclusive and include ALL usable photos! I say 30+ edited images delivered in an online gallery as the standard, but if I love and get 50 usable images, you receive all 50 at no additional charge. I've sent 134 before on an extended family session, there's no limit. If they are usable, they are YOURS!

How should we dress for our family session?

I LOVE THAT YOU ASKED THIS QUESTION! Once you book with me I will send over a quick styling guide! To sum it up... Neutrals, Neutrals & More Neutrals! Unless its a themed shoot or meaningful clothing, Neutrals photograph so beautifully and are TIMELESS!

What’s the best time to have a session?

My answer will always be golden hour! Now exact timing will change depending on what time of year, but normally about an hour before sunset is when you can expect me to want to begin a session! There is sunrise options as well and there is more flexibility if you choose a location that has some shading AKA NOT THE BEACH! Think trees/park/greenery and we have more options for timing!

But Katie, My toddler isn't very good for pictures... HELP!

Every toddler ever!!!
Even I have those crazy toddlers that do NOT want to take pictures! I promise I will do my best to get some smiles, but the candids and grumpy faces still make for beautiful photos & memories! I sing (terribly) dance (terribly) and am 100% all for bribery! (Anything for the perfect shot!)

Timing for a Fresh 48, Lifestyle Newborn or In Home Lifestyle Shoot?

This is a whole different ballgame! For these types of sessions, I am looking for the most natural light possible! (I never use flash around Newborns!) I normally like to begin right around Noon but this can be adjusted a few hours either way if needed to for nap time for other littles!
